As we have talked about hiring roles and the permissions that each role has [refer to the article https://www.notion.so/univenn/Understanding-Hiring-Roles-4f9250104e0b419d9d6a51c70d5c2ebb], we have mentioned that those permissions are based on roles and cannot be changed for different individuals.
However, if you wish to give or remove certain permissions to an individual for a certain job listing only, you can do it in just under a minute.
Let us show you how to do that.
When you create a job listing, one of the steps is Collaborator page. In this section, you can choose the members of your workspace that you wish to add as collaborators in evaluating together with you. You can check the boxes of the individuals you wish to add. After adding them, you will notice that next to their role, an edit button will be visible.
When clicking on it, a popup will open up showing the permissions that the role of the selected individual has been given. If you wish, you can add or remove permissions from the list.
These permissions will be changed only for the certain individual you selected and only for the job listing you are creating. Other individuals that have been assigned the same role and other job listings where these individuals are added as collaborators as well, will not be affected.
After clicking on Save, the changes done will be saved and the actions that the selected individual can take will be based on the permissions given on the job listing.
